Why do we celebrate children's Day?
Children's Day is celebrated annually on the birthday of the first Indian prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru, on November 14. Nehru, nicknamed 'Chacha Nehru' was born on November 14, 1889. He was known for his love for children. He also founded the Children's Film Society India in 1955 to create a traditional cinema designed for children only.
